This Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day, gift your loved ones with cards, flowers, chocolates, gummies, and other vegan treats from Trader Joe’s.

Starting from when I was in elementary school, picking up a little chocolate sampler for my third grade crush, I’ve always enjoyed the tender simplicity of Valentine’s Day.
Unlike the sweeping gestures of anniversaries, birthdays, or expectation-heavy holidays, with Valentine’s Day you just need a handwritten note in a card and something sweet to go with it.
My favorite place to pick up novelty treats and cards is Trader Joe’s. So I’m rounding up some fun Trader Joe’s Valentine’s Day gifts for your valentine, galentine, or yourself!
Remember: Trader Joe’s also has an excellent wine selection to complete the flowers, candy, and wine trifecta!

Cards, flowers, and non-food gifts

I can’t resist a card with a good fun pun. Trader Joe’s has lots available – including this valentine that reads, “I’ve got a bad queso lovin’ you.”
(Keep scrolling to the bottom for even more from their punny collection.)
At 99 cents per card, it’s easy to pick up several valentines to send friends and family.
Want to get your valentines at Trader Joe’s? I’d grab them now. Their selection dwindles pretty fast once the holiday gets closer.
If you save it for the fourteenth, you may be picking up a “Thinking of you” card instead.

There’s always loads of variety on flowers at Trader Joe’s. Although, the exact types vary by store, time of year, and time of day.
If you show up early enough on Valentine’s Day, expect roses, along with colorful varieties like Gerbera daisies.
Prices on flowers at Trader Joe’s really spoil you. It’s hard to go anywhere else, because they are so reasonable.
Fun fact: I even used their flowers for the centerpieces at my wedding reception!

Planning on getting Valentine’s flowers from Trader Joe’s? Go early in the day on the 14th. They get their flower shipment in the morning, and they will go fast. So if you can, go before work, not after.

For another Trader Joe’s Valentine’s Day product, sweetheart bath fizzers would be a cute little add-on with a card. They even have a To/From field on the packaging for easy gifting.
Made in the style of a conversation heart, they come in shades of pink and purple, and are imprinted with either XOXO or I ❤ you.
Then your valentine can drop the berry-scented fizzer into a warm bath and delight in soft, moisturized skin, thanks to a mixture of kaolin clay and grape seed oil.
Sweet treats from Trader Joe’s

Now, let’s get to the good stuff – Trader Joe’s Valentine’s candy!
These firm and chewy Xs and Os gummies come in a variety of flavors – grapefruit, berry, and strawberry.
They get their white, pink, and red colors from fruit and vegetable extracts.

Shaped like X’s and O’s, these vegan gummies are a favorite of my personal valentine.
He’ll often buy an extra bag or two of these seasonal gummies for his post-Valentine’s Day stash.

The fruity jellies are a longtime member of my list of favorite vegan Trader Joe’s items. They have a softer, more gel-like interior than typical gummies.
Each box is packed with a colorful array of flavors – mandarin, orange, blueberry, grape, lemon, and raspberry. The squares are coated in granulated sugar for extra crunch and sweetness.

If your valentine loves sour candies, pick up a box of sour strawberry candy belts. Each container is packed with long, flat, ruby-red striped gummy strips.
Made with natural flavors and colors derived from fruit and vegetable juices, one whiff of their distinctly fruity smell, and you’ll need to try one. They smell like Strawberry Shortcake dolls.
I especially love the texture of folding the belts upon themselves for maximum chew.

Valentine’s Day goes hand and hand with chocolate. The new dark chocolate sticks with crispy rice are a fun and unique option for your valentine.
Reminiscent of a Crunch bar, they come in long, thin sticks filled with puffed rice. The combination of form and filling give them a pleasant, crisp bite when you chomp into one.
Made with 60% dark Columbian chocolate, they’re ideal for those who want maximum chocolate flavor and tiny bit of bitterness.

These dark chocolate bars with almonds come three to a package. Imported from Belgium, these small bars are made with unsweetened chocolate, sugar, almonds, cocoa butter, and soy lecithin (emulsifier).
I consider them my “everyday chocolate.”
The robust chocolate flavor means you can be satisfied with just a square or two. (But I wouldn’t blame you for eating more…)
Plus, I love that extra crunch from the almonds. But if you prefer, they also make dark chocolate bars just like it without almonds.
Give a pack of three to one of your galentines, or divide them up amongst 3 pals.
Wrapping up your Valentine’s Day finds

Once you’ve picked up all of your Valentine’s Day sweets and treats, grab a copy of Trader Joe’s Fearless Flyer at the cash register stand.
Right now their free advertisement booklets are colored with lots of pinks, purples, and reds. Their paper pages include romantic, old timey clipart.

After you’ve perused it, gently pull the sheets apart, and use them for wrapping. (Or use one of their brown paper bags, like I did with my Trader Joe’s white elephant gift.)
Finish with some string for a sweet little bow, and your Valentine’s Day is sorted.
